Routes & Maps

ADVENTURE CYCLING BICYCLE ROUTE NETWORK
We've researched and developed 38,158 miles of prime cycling routes in the U.S., following some of the most quiet, scenic roads and bike trails in the North America. Our bike maps are built for cyclists and are some of the finest you'll find anywhere.

ADVENTURE CYCLING MAPS
Our bike maps include information not available on typical road maps designed for motorists. For example, the locations of bike shops, sources for food and water, and listings of overnight accommodations (especially camping facilities and small motels) are primary features of our maps. More about our maps.

U.S. BICYCLE ROUTE SYSTEM
Adventure Cycling Association and several other organizations have teamed up with AASHTO (American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials) to develop a U.S. Bike Route System. With staff support from Adventure Cycling Association, AASHTO's Task Force on U.S. Bicycle Routes is developing a corridor-level plan and designation system for a bicycle route system for the U.S. Learn more.
